Join myself and Tracey Coulson of Shamanic Earth on a sacred journey of drum & beater birthing.
Via the portal of her own heart Tracey will open the space with a channelled blessing before guiding us through the age old and scared process of birthing our very own drum. We will be guided through connecting to the spirit of the animal, plants and crystals used in the birthing to seek permission and give gratitude before beginning. Tracey will demonstrate the process of welcoming a 16” deer skin drum soul and beater before we embark on the process ourselves.
You are invited to make this a very personal experience. This may involve bringing a stone/crystal that you wish to include within your drum, a chosen stick for the beater handle as well as any plants you may feel drawn to include in the ceremonial aspect during the soaking of the hide. This is not essential as all materials will be provided however connecting to and working with these allies will make welcoming in the drums’ soul a much more personal and powerful experience.
You are required to bring lunch with you but drinks and fruit will be provided throughout the day. We also ask that you bring a towel to take your drum home in.
